The Process
We believe your experience should feel just as seamless as the final result looks.
Every booking begins with a complimentary consultation, either in person (our preferred approach) or virtually, where we take the time to understand your vision, style, and goals. Whether you’re planning an in-studio session, an on-location shoot, or a combination of both, we’ll guide you through every detail to ensure your experience is fully personalized.
Once everything is confirmed, you’ll receive a custom contract and invoice outlining your session. A non refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to your session.
From our first conversation to your final delivery, we’re here to make the process effortless, collaborative, and memorable — so you can focus on enjoying the moment while we bring your vision to life.
Beyond sessions, the space opens the door to even more possibilities. The studio is available for private bookings, including branding shoots, birthday celebrations, kids’ milestones, family gatherings, and creative collaborations. It also serves as an ideal venue for workshops, styled shoots, and small events up to 15 people, giving creators and clients a place to connect, learn, and bring their visions to reality.

Studio rental in Barrhaven, Ottawa
Rent the studio
You can rent our photo and video studio in Barrhaven by the booking, for your own shoot or for a small event of up to 15 people. The room comes with professional lighting, several backdrops and ready-made setups, and you can book it alone or with Nour and the team behind the camera.

Rent the room, or bring us in too
At a rental-only studio you bring your own photographer. Here you can also book the people. A studio portrait session starts at $150, and a content production session for a business starts at $200, both listed further down this page. So a baby's first birthday can be a party in the room and a portrait session in the same afternoon.
Why shoot indoors in Ottawa
No permit to chase. A commercial shoot on National Capital Commission land, such as Gatineau Park or the Rideau Canal pathways, needs an NCC land access permit. The City of Ottawa's Film By-law (2020-164) only requires a City permit on private property when a shoot uses City resources or puts replica weapons, uniforms or emergency vehicles in public view. A private indoor studio avoids both.
Your light does not set before 4:30. Ottawa gets 8 hours and 46 minutes of daylight on the shortest day, 2026-12-21. Studio lighting gives you the same light at 7 p.m. in December as at noon in June.
No weather call. Freezing rain, wind and the first snow do not move a studio booking.
Booking and rates
Rates depend on how long you need the room and whether you want us to photograph or film. Every booking starts with a free consultation, in person at the studio (our favourite) or online. After that you get a contract and an invoice, and a non-refundable deposit holds your date.

Do you offer on-location shoots?
Yes! We offer both in-studio and on-location sessions. Whether it's a beach, park, your home, or your business space, we’ll help you choose the best environment to match your vision.
What should we wear to our session?
During your consultation, we’ll go over wardrobe suggestions to match the look and feel you’re going for. We also offer guidance on colors, textures, and what photographs best based on your session type.
How long does a session last?
Session times vary depending on the type of shoot. Portrait and branding sessions typically last 60 –90 minutes, while newborn and family sessions may run longer. We’ll discuss all timing during your consultation.
When will we receive our photos or video?
Turnaround time for edited images is typically 2–3 weeks, depending on the session type. If you’ve booked video services, delivery may take slightly longer. Rush edits may be available upon request.
Can I reschedule if something comes up?
Yes! life happens! We allow one complimentary reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. The deposit remains non-refundable, but it can be applied to your new date within 3 months of the original booking.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely. We understand that professional photography is an investment. We offer flexible payment options to make it easier to secure your session.
Full payment must be paid on the same day of the session.
